Kofi Annan MBA and Management Scholarships for Developing Countries

The Kofi Annan Fellowship offers scholarshis to postgraduate applicants in Business administration and Management courses. Citizens of developing countries (least developed countries and
landlocked developing countries) are the eligible groups. Beneficiaries of this awards will either study in Germany or Netherlands.



 The Kofi Annan MSc / MBA Fellowship is offered by the Kofi Annan Business School Foundation
in The Hague, Netherlands  in conjunction with the European School of Management and Technology (ESMT) in Berlin, Germany.

This Fellowship awards provides talented and motivated students from developing countries the privilege, to study management at ESMT in Berlin and graduate with a prestigious MBA or MSc
from the most international business school in Germany. Partner schools are ESMT, Vlerick Leuven Gent Management School (Belgium), Hogeschool Utrecht (Netherlands), NOVA SBE (Portugal), Koc University (Turkey) and Business School Lausanne (Switzerland).

Beneficiaries are expected to partake in the strengthening of  the entrepreneurial capacity and the
fostering of a stable market economy as an effective catalyst for their nation’s development, creation of jobs, and poverty alleviation.

Eligibility:

    Masters in Management (MIM) applicants should have a bachelor’s degree centered in STEM (science, technology, engineering or math) or a degree showing advanced abilities in quantitative subjects. You need to be proficient in English with at least two years of work experience. GMAT is also required.
    Applicants for the MBA should have a bachelor’s degree of any kind, at least three years of
professional experience, GMAT, and English proficiency.

The Masters in Management lasts a year and ten months (22 months). It aso has a pre-experience program, created to teach beneficiaries the way to enhance analytical and technological skills, developed in undergraduate work, and use them in an applied business management environment. The program is designed for students from a STEM (science, technology, engineering, or mathematics) background who have little or no work experience.

ESMT’s one-year Full-time MBA program is a management acceleration program aimed at early to midcareer professionals with at least three years of professional experience.


Note: There are about five Masters in management  fellowships and up to five MBA fellowships awards at ESMT. The MIM fellowship lasts for 22 months, while the MBA fellowship lasts for a year.


Benefits
The value of the fellowship is € 50,000 for MIM students and € 58,000 for MBA students. Fellows will have a full scholarship from ESMT plus air compensation for travel and accommodation costs, and program related fees. In general, ESMT provides support for travel, visa, housing, insurance,
placement, and networking.

The MIM program and the MBA program begins in September and January of
