Newcastle University Scholarship for Nigerian Postgraduate students.

Newcastle University located in Newcastle, England is offering scholarship to postgraduate Nigerian students who want to do a masters degree course with the university. There are several courses ( any postgraduate Masters degree programmes -taught or research) available to study in the university.

These awards are meant for high achieving Nigerian students applying for a postgraduate Masters degree programmes at the university and beginning their studies in September 2015. Only 3 scholarship awards are available for 2015/2016 session. The award is a one time financial support for the first year tuition fees. Each scholarship will have a value of £5000 payable towards your first year of tuition fees



Eligibility:

  1. You must have been offered an admission to a master degree programme in the university .
  2. You must be a Nigerian and have been assessed as international/overseas for fees purposes.
  3. You intend to register to start your studies during the 2015-16 academic year
  4. You are a self-funded student and not in receipt of other University or external awards
  5. You have second Class Upper degree or higher from a recognised Nigerian University and satisfy all other requirements.

Criteria for selection: Award of scholarship will be on the basis of best qualified students and content

University of Newcastle International Postgraduate Research Scholarships for Masters and PhD Students

This postgraduate research scholarship provides international student the opportunity to study in the University of Newcastle, Australia in all fields available in the university. The University of Newcastle provides a variety of postgraduate research scholarships to aid international research candidates for PhD and research Masters studies. Eligible groups: Citizens of ALL countries


Eligibility: Applicants must meet eligibility requirements prior to closing date and must  have an offer of admission to a higher degree. Applicants for those schemes should have completed at least four numerous undergraduate study and also have attained Honours Class 1 or equivalent. The duration is three (3) years for any PhD degree and 2 years for just a Master's degree, less any previous tenure towards a study higher degree in the same level.

Applicants must provide proof of English proficiency prior to closing date. The TOEFL computer based test takes a score with a minimum of 232 (having an Essay Rating for at least 4.5) or maybe a paper based test score for at least 575 (having an Essay Rating with a minimum of 4.5); or perhaps IELTS score with a minimum of 6.5 without any individual subtest score below 6.0.

Applicants are certainly not qualified to apply for:
 *Support for a study Master degree as long as they already hold an analysis Master degree or equivalent;
  * Support from any RHD scholarship should they already hold a study Doctoral degree or equivalent;
  * UNRS when they have previously held an equivalent scholarship for a few months or even more, for the similar award.

Kofi Annan MBA and Management Scholarships for Developing Countries

The Kofi Annan Fellowship offers scholarshis to postgraduate applicants in Business administration and Management courses. Citizens of developing countries (least developed countries and
landlocked developing countries) are the eligible groups. Beneficiaries of this awards will either study in Germany or Netherlands.



 The Kofi Annan MSc / MBA Fellowship is offered by the Kofi Annan Business School Foundation
in The Hague, Netherlands  in conjunction with the European School of Management and Technology (ESMT) in Berlin, Germany.

This Fellowship awards provides talented and motivated students from developing countries the privilege, to study management at ESMT in Berlin and graduate with a prestigious MBA or MSc
